Ithaca adult hockey association

The Ithaca Adult Hockey Association was formed during the summer of 1999 by a group of players from both the Cass Park and the Rink leagues. The primary goal of IAHA is to promote a healthy and fun recreational adult hockey league in Ithaca by providing oversight of the league administration, improving parity among teams, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging players at all skill levels to participate.

IAHA offers a B/C Division only.  An A/B Division is organized by the Community Recreation Center.  For information about A/B, email Alex Hayes at alexander.hayes@gmail.com

League Information (for 2024-25 season)

There are no adult hockey leagues in Ithaca in the spring or summer.  We will begin planning for the 2024-25 season during the summer, and will publish and distribute information in late September.

If you are new to the league and want some information, please check out last season's registration material.  Last year's game schedule will answer most of your schedule questions.  If you still have questions, or want to be added to our mailing list, please email us at info@ithacaadulthockey.com.

The B/C division is strictly for intermediate and novice level players.  New players who are above the intermediate level should sign up for the A/B division run by the Community Recreation Center.  This includes players who have played (or could have played) youth travel, high school, college club, or any organized hockey at a highly competitive level (even if it was 30 years ago).   A/B is currently reserving spots at their site (click here for A/B).  For more information about A/B, email Alex Hayes at alexander.hayes@gmail.com

Behavioral Concerns

The Ithaca Adult Hockey Association intends for this to be a safe, inclusive, and fun experience for all participants.  Any concerns of inappropriate or dangerous behavior at a league game, either on or off the ice, may be reported to behavior@ithacaadulthockey.com.  A board member will be assigned to review your concern, investigate the particulars, and take any corrective action deemed necessary by the Board.
