IThaca adult hockey association

The Ithaca Adult Hockey Association was formed during the summer of 1999 by a group of players from both the Cass Park and the Rink leagues. The primary goal of IAHA is to promote a healthy and fun recreational adult hockey league in Ithaca by providing oversight of the league administration, improving parity among teams, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging players at all skill levels to participate.

IAHA 2021-22 B/C Division Registration

Posted 10/4/2021

Hello Hockey Players,

It’s time to play some hockey.  The registration site is now available and can be accessed from the link below.

League information and rules are also available below.  Here are some important details and additional information.

  • All players must complete a COVID-19 vaccination series two weeks prior to skating with the league.  You must provide a copy of your vaccination card during the registration process.
  • If you’ve waited a couple of days to register, you may want to confirm there is still space in the league before you register with USA Hockey.  Just start the registration, and, if we’re full, you’ll receive an OUT OF STOCK message before you need the USAH number.
  • We are planning to play all games at Cass Park.  Start times are 7:15 and 9 on Sundays, and 9:30 or 9:45 Monday through Thursday.  There may be some make up games or playoff games at The Rink later in the season.
  • Cass Park currently has an indoor mask rule (lobby, locker room, rest rooms), which we will be following.  As conditions and guidelines change, we will notify all players of those changes.
  • Games are planned to begin on Sunday, October 24.
  • Registration for subs is not available until after teams are formed.  Either find your own team and have the captain make a request to the board (this is strongly preferred), or email eric@catcyk.com that you are wanting to sub.
  • We are planning a team roster reveal party during the week of October 18th.  We’ll send details when the details have been confirmed.

Welcome back!

A/B Division Status

For the past four seasons, we did not have enough A/B players willing to commit to a formal league. The IAHA will not be offering an A/B League this season.

An A/B league will be run out the Community Recreation Center, the Rink.  If you are interested in the A/B league please contact Alex Hayes - alexander.hayes@gmail.com
